#NUCB #Sagamine Festival #SUPER BEAVER

After a 2-year face-to-face hiatus, the 69th Sagamine Festival at Nisshin Campus held over the past weekend was a great success.

Chancellor Hiroyuki Kurimoto gave a speech for the Opening Ceremony at the Active Learning Center (ALC) to congratulate everyone on their hard work to prepare for the festival, and to embrace this years theme of 万里一空" - Mariichi Sora, which refers to the spirit of overcoming the toughest of challenges, whereby instead of giving up, look at the endless blue sky where endless opportunities await.

Following the speech, there was a grand performance from the NUCB Symphonic Ensemble.

At the main venue, food booths provided typical festival food such as fried chicken, noodles, ramen and more. We were treated to  LIVE performances by the Pop Guitar Club and Folk Song Lovers' Association as well as dance performances by the K-POP Dance Circle and Street Dance Circle.

In addition, the SDGs circle, the Art Club and Manga/Animation Society provided workshops and exhibitions.

On Saturday evening, the rock band "SUPER BEAVER" performed live at the NUCB gymnasium. 980 people attended with strict social distance rules in place.
