Hafa Adai! My name is Rosdem, a first-year student in the Global BBA program at NUCB. I hail from the island of Guam, a three to four hour flight from Nagoya.
Where did you first hear of NUCB? What made you choose the Global BBA Program?
I first heard about NUCB whilst searching for potential universities on the internet. What caught my eye was the unique case study method that the Global BBA program provided. Upon applying, I was quite pleased by the constant and consistent communication provided by the university throughout the admission process.
How will the case method / NUCB network help you for your future?
The case method encourages broadening one's perspective; coupled with the diverse nationalities represented in the Global BBA program, I am able to find novel solutions to problems I wouldn't have figured out alone. As a first year student, I was also pleasantly surprised by the knowledge and expertise of my professors. So far, the NUCB network has given me many opportunities to potentially pursue a career in Japan or abroad.
Are you taking Japanese lessons - how is your language coming on?
I am currently taking a Japanese class under Professor Isono. While I did take Japanese in high school, I am still far from conversational ability. To any prospective student - I would highly recommend that you start learning Japanese as soon as possible!
