Please introduce yourself
My name is Asmita Paudyal, I'm from Nepal and currently, I’m pursuing the Global BBA program at NUCB. I enjoy hiking and reading especially philosophy and literature. As NUCB has a library that contains various genres of books including philosophy, literature, and politics, it is easier for me to indulge in something that I love.
Why did you want to study in Japan?
I’ve always had a fascination for Japan, starting from my childhood when I used to watch anime. Over time, this simple interest evolved as I became deeply drawn to Japanese culture and society through the works of writers like Haruki Murakami and Osamu Dazai. Their books sparked a genuine curiosity in me about Japan’s way of thinking, its traditions, and its approach to life.
This interest motivated me to push myself beyond my comfort zone and pursue the dream of studying in Japan. NUCB offers the perfect opportunity to make this dream a reality. With its global outlook and innovative business programs, it’s the ideal place for me to grow, both personally and academically, while fully immersing myself in the culture I’ve admired for so long.
Are you taking Japanese lessons - how is your language coming on?
I'm taking advanced Japanese B. It is quite helpful to improve my Japanese. This course is focused on passing the N2 level of JLPT. As I have N3, it encourages me to understand and learn Japanese constantly.
