Please introduce yourself
Hello, My name is Dhruv. I’m 18 years old and currently a first-year student in the GBBA program at NUCB. I was born in Mumbai, India, but I grew up in Tokyo, Japan. Having spent so much time in both places, I feel like I carry a blend of both cultures with me.
What is your favorite facility on campus?
It’s hard to pick just one favorite since NUCB offers so many great facilities. Personally, I enjoy the library and the Self-Access Center as after classes I often head there to wrap up assignments or just hang out with a few classmates to chat about our interests.
Are there any other features of NUCB that you find attractive?
NUCB offers opportunities like the CAPI internship program and career support, which really help jumpstart my professional journey from the very first year, a huge advantage, in my opinion.
Are you thinking of doing an exchange or double degree?
Yes, I definitely plan to join an exchange program because I believe that international exposure and networking are essential. Building connections with companies, professors, and peers worldwide will be crucial for my professional journey ahead.
What kind of student excels at NUCB?
I think people who can mix and interact with people from different backgrounds easily and values experiences can excel in NUCB. Let it be from classes or group discussions or company tours, interactions will make you understand others' point of views and improve the way you think.
Do you have any advice for those considering NUCB?
Strap in for the best few coming years and be open to every opportunity! These are the years to thrive.
