Please introduce yourself
Hello, I’m Sadman Ishraque Reham. Originally from Dhaka, Bangladesh. Currently, I’m exploring topics like cultural exchange, global talent, and economic growth in Japan, with the aim of bringing diverse perspectives into my studies. Outside of class, I’m learning Japanese and enjoying the opportunity to experience Japan's rich culture.
Why did you want to study in Japan?
I wanted to study in Japan because of its reputation for innovative education and the unique opportunity to experience a culture that values both tradition and cutting-edge technology. Japan’s dynamic business environment and strong focus on cross-cultural exchange align perfectly with my career goals.
What is your impression of the case study method? Have you ever experienced this style in high school?
In high school, I didn’t have formal experience with the Case Study Method, but it has made a strong impression on me as an incredibly engaging and practical approach to learning. Unlike traditional lecture-based methods, the Case Study Method encourages active participation, critical thinking, and problem-solving, making it feel closer to real-world business situations. It challenges me to analyze diverse perspectives, make decisions with limited information, and defend my viewpoints.
How will the case method help you for your future?
The Case Method at NUCB will be essential for my future, as it equips me with the skills to analyze complex business issues, think critically, and make sound decisions under uncertainty.
Are you taking Japanese lessons - how is your language coming on?
Yes, I’m taking Japanese lessons, and I’m really enjoying them! Our sensei is incredibly knowledgeable and supportive, which makes learning both fun and effective. Besides class, I also study on my own through daily practice and conversation with friends. I can see my progress little by little, and it’s very rewarding to apply what I’ve learned in everyday life.
Are you working part-time or planning to?
Yes, I plan to work part-time because I want to experience Japanese work culture firsthand and improve my Japanese in a real-world setting. I believe that working alongside native speakers will help me develop not only my language skills but also a deeper understanding of workplace etiquette and communication styles in Japan.
