Please introduce yourself
I’m Anastasia Aika from Tokyo, and I'm first year student. I like to cook and read books in my free time.
Where did you first hear of NUCB? What made you choose the Global BBA Program? How was the application process.
I discovered NUCB while browsing for universities, and I was attracted to its unique case study method, which sets it apart from other institutions. The interview was also very welcoming.
What is your impression of the Case Study Method? Did you have any experience at high school with this style?
I find it really effective for me because I know that I memorise concepts and learn better with examples and discussions. My high school did a similar thing, except they had us research real-life examples to apply new things we learnt and this method helped concepts stick in my memory.
How will the case method / NUCB network help you for your future?
I think the case method would help me be more vocal in team discussions if I ever get into a teamwork-based job.
What do you do in your free time before/after class and on weekends?
After class, I do as much of the case studies I can ahead of time and sometimes research more on cases I find interesting.
