Riya (India) India International School in Japan

Please introduce yourself

Hi! I’m Riya from India, currently a second-year student in the Global BBA (GBBA) program.

What dormitory are you in, and what do you think of it?

I live in the Sanbongi Dormitory. I think it’s great because it’s not too far from the university, and there's a Family Mart conveniently located right next to it, which is super handy!

What do you think of the diversity at NUCB (students and professors)?

NUCB is one of the most diverse universities in Japan. Students and professors come from all over the world, creating an exciting and multicultural learning environment.

What is your favorite facility on campus?

The library is my favorite place on campus. It’s spacious and even has a dedicated eating area with vending machines for ice cream, drinks, and snacks. Plus, the group rooms are perfect for team discussions and study sessions.

What is your impression of the Case Study Method? Did you have any experience with this in high school?

I had no experience with the Case Study Method in high school, so it was a bit nerve-wracking at first. But over time, I’ve become much more confident in myself and my contributions. It’s helped me develop a deeper understanding of how the real business world works.
