Please introduce yourself
I am Noah, representing the United States of America and the great state of Indiana.
Why did you want to study in Japan?
I was in the United States Air Force and lived in Okinawa, Japan for three years. I initially was not too thrilled to come to Japan. After I experienced Japanese culture, I just knew I had to find a way back. So I used my GI Bill and moved back to Japan.
What do you do in your free time before/after class and on weekends?
In my free time I practice Judo and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I take grappling seriously and eventually hope to compete in the Asian Worlds sometime in the near future.
Are you part of any clubs or language exchange?
Yes, I am currently on the Judo Team here at NUCB. I really love my team mates. Shout out to my little brother Kichi!
What is your favorite facility on campus?
For me? If you’ve got this far you’ll notice the theme. I love the Judo Hall here on campus. It’s rich in history and names of Judokas past. Plus it’s my home away from home.
