My name is Zlata. I’m from Vladivostok, Russia. I joined NUCB in Fall 2024. Before that, I lived in Cyprus for a few years. Also, I lived in Japan for 3 years when I was a child.
Where did you first hear of NUCB? What made you choose the Global BBA Program? How was the application process?
I discovered NUCB while searching for universities and was drawn to its unique Case Study Method teaching style and diverse student body. The application process was smooth—I could submit my documents online, which was a big help since my school was in Russia and I was living abroad. It really reduced my stress.
What is your impression of the Case Study Method? Did you have any experience at high school with this style?
I had no prior experience with the Case Study Method, but I’ve found it a great way to study. It offers practical knowledge, and classmates from diverse backgrounds bring unique insights to discussions. You learn not just from professors, but from fellow students as well.
How will the Case Study Method / NUCB network help you in your future?
It will definitely help improve my communication and social skills, especially in managing group work. I get anxious when giving presentations, but since we do them often here, I believe I’ll get used to it—which will be extremely helpful in the future.
