I am Elina, a second-year student at Nagoya University of Commerce and Business, originally from California in the United States.
What is your impression of the Case Study Method?
I really enjoy the Case Study Method because it is an active learning style where professors and students communicate openly, making classes more engaging, practical, and easier to understand.
What has been your favorite professor so far?
My favorite professors so far are Liu Lian and Sandy Wong, who teach Financial Management and Service Management, because their classes are interactive, clearly explained, and help me connect theory to real business situations.
What kind of student excels at NUCB?
A student who excels at NUCB is someone who is open-minded, participates actively in discussions, and is willing to learn from different perspectives.
Do you have any advice for those considering NUCB?
My advice for students considering NUCB is to be ready to actively contribute in class and take advantage of the diverse community by connecting with people from different cultures.
