Please introduce yourself

My name is Jahnavi. I’m 19 years old, of Indian origin, and was born and raised in Tokyo. I’m currently a first-year business student at NUCB.

What is one thing that surprised you the most after enrolling?

Before enrolling at NUCB, I visited the campus during an Open Campus event earlier that year. At the time, I didn’t realize just how vast the campus really is. Now, after being a student here for over a year, I’m still discovering new places and hidden spots. This shows how expansive and full of surprises the NUCB campus truly is.

What do you do in your free time before/after class and on weekends?

I am a member of a student circle and the girls basketball team. Depending on the day, I am either attending a club meeting, or going to practice. On the weekends I like to work on my assignments or do some chores.

What is your favorite facility on campus?

My favorite facility on campus is the on-campus 7/11 convenience store. Just outside the convenience store there is a pleasant outdoor seating area. I often like to buy snacks and spend some time there.

How would you describe the student life here?

Student life at NUCB is very vibrant and engaging.  Beyond academics, there are countless other things you can do, such as join various kinds of clubs, student circles or sports. I myself am a part of a student circle and the girl’s basketball team. Additionally, the university hosts numerous events throughout the year. I would say student life at NUCB is anything but boring.
