Eva De Groote
Global MBA 2008

Asian Perspective of Business Management

Eva has always been very interested in different countries and their cultures. Living in a small country like Belgium has created the urge to explore more of the international world, and has led her to the Netherlands,Australia and Japan. Her studies in aerospace engineering contributed to her awareness of environmental issues such as global warming and climate change. Studying in Japan, one of the world's strongest economies, offers insight into the Asian perspective of business management. "With the booming Asian economy, especially in China and India, learning business skills in Japan has many advantages. For me, it will be a major benefit when going back to Europe, where business relations between east and west are becoming more and more important with every passing day." The international dimension of the Global MBA at NUCB, where studying among different nationalities with diverse backgrounds and cultures is common practice, broadens Eva's social and work-related contacts. "Studying at NUCB not only contributes to my management skills, but also enlarges my equally important international and cultural development." Being a top business school in Japan, NUCB has acquired AACSB accreditation, which is important for her when leaving Japan to find a job.
