Biography

名古屋大学大学院工学研究科博士課程修了（情報工学専攻）。工学博士。名古屋大学情報学研究科教授を経て、2026年より現職。認知科学会会長、人工知能学会理事等を歴任。認知科学会フェロー。
Carnegie Mellon University, Dept. of Psychologyにて、Herbert A. Simon教授に師事。認知科学・人工知能などの領域で、とりわけ発見、創造、洞察、協同といった人間の高次思考過程に関する基礎研究、ならびに学習支援や運転支援などの応用研究に従事してきた。今後は、組織行動や企業におけるwell-beingのテーマにも注力していく。
