I'm very interested in the business, in the video game industry and Japanese companies such as Nintendo, Sony, Namco Bandai are most, best entertainment companies in the world so it's very important for me to understand how these companies work but also how the consumers in Japan consume, and that can be very helpful for me in my future career but also to learn Japanese is very important for me.
I think the most impressive thing is that Japan is able to mix modernity and tradition. For example, as you can see in Tokyo, and in the big cities you can see high buildings just next to a temple, an ancient temple which is very beautiful. And also, even the people are good example you can see in the train elder people with a new iPod which is impossible in France. I think Japanese likes new technology but they are also very attached to their history and their past and traditions. That's what makes Japan very unique I think.
My favorite class was "Doing Business in Japan". Because it's an intensive class so just for one week you learn how to do business in Japan such as the management and, but also the production process, the life-time employment you learn a lot of things about Japanese works and jobs and business. But also we had a various class, type of class We did group works, poster presentations, we also visited the Toyota factory which is very useful and very entertaining. I think all the foreign students should choose this class.
My main objective was to study in a multicultural environment because here you can study with people from all over the world and even the teachers are from Japan, China, and USA, and even England. So it's very useful to learn how to work in a multicultural environment for my future because today the business are global, and companies are global and international so you have to know that.
