Meeting my new friends from Singapore in Croatia.

Hi. I'm Erika Murakami. I'm studying English Communication, and I'm in my 1st year now. I know you are not interested in what I'm doing neither how well I'm doing in Europe. But let me tell you about my trip so that I can make you feel like joining Gap Year Program next year.

I've been traveling Europe for 4 weeks already. My life has changed a lot in a good way and now I am totally independent. During your trip, you have to do everything by yourself. Booking tickets and hostels, cooking, washing your cloths, asking people if you have questions or you need help, etc... No one takes care of your chores like your parents do. As you can see, I have to do a lot so I'm busy all the time. But I have time to think about my future or what I want to do in University life.

It's good to take a break from studying in front of your desk and think about your life on a bench in the park. I'm doing well, and making a lot of friends. Listening to their experiences or opinions always helps me when I'm stuck with thinking about my future.

Anyways I really recommend you to join this program. Talk to me if you want to hear my stories of Europe after I got back to Japan.
